…I was born in Treviso, a beautiful small town in north-eastern Italy.
Ever since I can remember, I have always been very interested in food and the connection it has with our body and mind. An only child, I grew up watching my mother cook beautiful meals for family and friends, often doing my homework in the kitchen so I could sit there and endlessly watch her create a magical world of Italian cuisine. My young years were spent in school and on tennis courts, as I became a competitive tennis player with a distant dream of one day winning Wimbledon!
I have also always been fascinated by travelling, foreign cultures and languages, so while in high school I applied to become an exchange student in the USA. I was selected and sent to Tallahassee, Florida, where I was a Senior at Lincoln High School. It was a fantastic but initially difficult experience, which changed my life and gave me some wonderful memories and life-long friends.
Once back in Italy, I studied Economics at the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari, where I graduated in 1996. The same year I got married to Michael, my Australian husband, and moved to London where I started working in the City. Although it was a career move that I had looked for and was convinced I wanted, it was quite clear to me from the start that I was not in my element.
The years that followed were full of adventures with brief stints in Australia and a few years in Italy, followed by our return to the UK in 2005. Now a mother with three children in the mix, my love of food and nutrition kept calling me back.
In 2016 I qualified as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, finally finding a home for all my interests.
Today I use my passion for all things food and my deep curiosity in the relationship it has with our health and wellbeing to help you realise the importance of eating well to live well. Of course, due to my Italian roots, food and eating will always represent a source of pleasure and joy.
I am a foodie and a health coach and I am passionate about rediscovering and keeping alive the traditional foods of my ancestors and the land I am from.
This curiosity has definitely increased with age, I suppose with the instinct of leaving a legacy in the kitchen, the heart of the house; and with the intent of keeping together all the memories that my mother (who passed away way too young), and her mother before her, carefully and lovingly created with her dishes. I think nowadays, more than ever, there is a profound need to rediscover the art of slow food and slow living.
I founded Isa’s Healthy Kitchen with this in mind, to create a platform from which I can reach as many people as possible and spread food joy and all that it stands for.

Testimonials
I lost 8kg and am no longer scared about food…
“I’ve known Isabella for a long time, and she’s always known me to complain about my weight and especially about my food anxiety.
While managing to lose most of my excess weight, I had become almost too scared to eat out and very confused about my relationship with food.
Isabella helped me develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices, improving my health balance and happiness. I now look at food in a much more positive way and have lost about 8 kilos!
Each session left me motivated to make simple, small changes that made a big impact”.
I gained good habits and lost weight…
“I have really learned a lot about food from spending time with Isabella. She tailored the plan for me so that it suited my lifestyle and good habits that I have carried with me till today. I definitely lost 3 stubborn kilos and added more vegetable to my diet, which made me feel a lot better.
What I also appreciated was that Isabella took a 360-degree look at my habits and not just with food; it encapsulated my day to day activities, exercise, sleep, stress, and social behaviour. In fact, I realised I was in need of taking time out for myself and put that into action.
I was especially grateful when she walked me through the supermarket aisles to help decide what foods worked best. I found her very generous with her time and knowledge and always looking for new solutions that work best for the individual. I feel great for it.
Thank you very much Isabella!”
